Meet PostSecret & Frank Warren

Frank Warren’s PostSecret.com started as a community art experiment and has since become an international phenomenon. Warren has received over 150,000 anonymous postcards in the past four years. Come to hear about this moving experience and the people it has touched along the way.

The PostSecret website http://www.postsecret.com won two Webby Awards in 2006 and was, this year, named Weblog of the year at the Seventh Annual Weblog Awards. The PostSecret project also received a special award from the National Mental Health Association for raising awareness and funds for suicide prevention. Warren lives in Germantown, Maryland with his wife and daughter.

Everyone is welcome to mail in a handmade, anonymous postcard expressing their “secret.” Postcards will be included in an art gallery showcase at The Gallery Underground and delivered to Frank Warren for consideration in the PostSecret project, where there is a chance your postcard will end up on the blog or in his next book.
