Presentation: How to Self-Publish Your Peace Corps Book

Lawrence F. Lihosit is the author of six books, numerous pamphlets, and articles. His latest works include a travel narrative (Jesus Was Arrested in Mexico City and Missed the Wedding, 2008) and poetry (Attack of the Claw, 2008). A collection of short stories set in Mesoamerica during the turbulent 1980’s (Whispering Campaign) will be released in 2009.

An urban planner, Lihosit served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Honduras (1975-1977), part of the Community Development contingent. His Peace Corps experience is described in his travel memoir titled South of the Frontera (1993). He still practices his career in California’s Central Valley and is currently working on an introduction to infrastructure book for urban planners. He also contributes regularly to the e-magazine Peace Corps Writers.
