The Creative Garden, presented by Beet Street, is an outlet of the unique talents of  Fort Collins arts and culture community, and provides a retreat full of creative expression and performance within the hustle and bustle of Bohemian Nights At NewWestFest.

A visitor to Creative Garden will find many artistic and entertainment experiences, including:

  • A Performing Arts Stage
  • An invitational art show presented by the Lincoln Center
  • food choices from Melting Pot, Rodizio Grill, Austins American Grill and Enzios Italian Grill

  • The Bohemian Nights Acoustic Stage


Festival-goers who visit the Performing Arts Stage in the Creative Garden can be sure to see quality local talent, as local actors, dancers, musicians, and artists perform short, free family friendly performances in a comfortable, shady, garden setting while 20 local visual artists participate in an invitiational arts show. The Performing Arts stage in 2010 included Bas Bleu Theatre Company, Canyon Concert Ballet, Carousel Dinner Theatre, Debut Theatre Company, Fort Collins Symphony, IMPACT Dance, Nonesuch Theater, OpenStage Theatre & Company and Opera Fort Collins. Invitational Art exhibitors offering high quality art for display and purchase included well-known local artists Diane Findley, Bob and Brent Coonts, Barbara Moore, Gary Hixon and many more.

Beet Street is delighted by the community support in this inaugural year of Creative Garden.  The following businesses are contributing sponsors: Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest, Lincoln Center, The Gardens on Spring Creek, Yellow Tail Australian Wines and Kunde Family Estate Wines.

 

Volunteer for Creative Garden

 Beet Street needs your help to transform Chestnut Street into a garden on Friday, August 20, 2010 and to break down the garden on Sunday, August 22, 2010. Learn more on how you can help!

Beet Street also needs your help on Saturday, August 21 and Sunday, August 22 to work in Creative Garden during the festival. Learn more about volunteering during the festival.

Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest provides one of the great free music experiences in the country. In 2010, Beet Street is bringing a fresh, creative, and inspiring artistic experience to Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest with the Creative Garden.

Beet Street needs your help transform Chestnut Street into a Garden on Friday, August 20th. Volunteer shifts are from 8am-5pm and 5pm - Midnight. Lunch and dinner will be provided.

Beet Street is also looking for volunteers on Saturday, August 21 and Sunday, August 22 to work in Creative Garden during the festival. Various shifts are available.
